Alden is an E-Verify employer. E-Verify is an internet-based system operated by the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services that allows us to verify the employment eligibility of our employees. Based on the information provided by you on your Form I-9, we will input that information into E-Verify which will confirm your information in DHS and Social Security Administration (SSA) databases. Your continued employment with Alden is contingent upon an “Employment Authorized” result for you from the E-Verify system.
We regularly employ undergraduate and graduate students for co-op semesters and summer internships. Typically, applicants are assigned to a department and given engineering and technical tasks based on our current workload, including cross-functional assignments. Our interns may also have the opportunity to conduct a small research project.
Interested students should submit their current resume and letter of interest, noting preferred focus area. Our review process typically begins 5 to 7 months before the start of the program, but late candidates may also be considered based on our workload.
