David is responsible for gas flow systems engineering at Alden, using industry knowledge and expertise as well as physical and computational fluid dynamic (CFD) mode.
He has over 20 years of experience designing fluid dynamic systems for energy, industrial, and medical sectors. He started work as a research engineer for Combustion Engineering developing pollution control systems for coal fired power plants using pilot scale units, scaled cold flow models, and computational fluid dynamic models. He joined the Alden team in 2004 where he expanded his work repertoire to include automotive aerodynamic designs and a variety of industrial and bio medical applications.
As Director of Gas Flow Engineering, David leads a team that applies their modeling techniques to improve system performance and provide efficient product designs for clean energy, glass and cement manufacturing, and bio-technical devices and medical products.
