Physical Scale Modeling

Building a geometric scale physical model can often be the most reliable way of ensuring proper performance of flow equipment or fluid flow systems, short of constructing a full scale prototype and testing it.  This methodology has been in Alden's toolbox ever since its founding in 1894.  In order for a physical scale model to reflect accurate results, a keen understanding of scaling laws and empirical guidelines is critical.
