Director of Gas Flow Systems Engineering
David is responsible for gas flow systems engineering at Alden, using industry knowledge and expertise as well as physical and computational fluid dynamic (CFD) mode.
He has over 18 years of experience designing fluid dynamic systems for energy, industrial, and medical sectors. He started work as a research engineer for Combustion Engineering developing pollution control systems for coal fired power plants using pilot scale units, scaled cold flow models, and computational fluid dynamic models. He joined the Alden team 13 years ago where he expanded his work repertoire to include automotive aerodynamic designs and a variety of industrial and bio medical applications.
He was recently promoted to director of the Gas Flow Engineering department where he leads a team of 10 people where they apply their modeling techniques to improve system performance and provide efficient product designs for clean energy, glass and cement manufacturing, and bio-technical devices and medical products.
