Traceability
Traceability of Alden’s Materials and Test Equipment (M&TE) is based on a series of artifacts certified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) used as Master Standards for mass, time, temperature, and differential pressure.
Quality Assurance
The Flow Measurement Group at Alden maintains a quality system designed to exceed the requirements of ANSI /NCSL Z540-1-2994 "Calibration Laboratories and Measuring and Testing Equipment - General Requirements." The Nuclear Users Procurement Issues Committee (NUPIC) conducts regular audits of the Quality Program, and Alden is approved to conduct commercial grade calibrations for the nuclear industry.
