March 16-17, 2012- MIT Energy Conference- Boston

  • Timothy Hogan will be on a panel focusing on water limitations in low-carbon electricity generation.  Tim was asked to join the panel as an aquatic ecologist who could speak with authority about the impacts of dams and cooling systems, and shed some light on where the related regulations are headed. 

March 2012- Desal Dialog Workshop - Sacramento, CA  

·         Timothy Hogan will be part of a panel discussing desalination intake impacts and intake regulation in the U.S.    
 
 
May 16-17, 2012- National Center for Excellence in Desalintion- Adelaide, Austrailia
  • Steve Amaral will present on intake impacts and 316(b). 
June 6-8, 2012- Water in Mining – Santiago, Chile
  • Norman Perkins will present a paper written with his colleague Timothy Hogan titled " Intake design for minimising debris and impacts to fish".
